Chicago faces one of the highest rates of gun violence in the U.S., with nearly 40 people shot each week—yet the city has grown numb to the numbers.
To jolt awareness, the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence partnered with FCB Chicago to create Most Dangerous Street: a powerful, walk-through installation that visualized real-time shooting data week by week. Built from actual police reports, the immersive experience turned statistics into a striking street-level reality—demanding attention from voters, legislators, and the city itself.
